We are deeply saddened by the news of two devastating earthquakes (7.8 & 7.5) and continuing aftershocks hitting the southeastern region of Türkiye (including my hometown- Kahramanmaraş). Thousands of buildings, including my relatives' homes, have collapsed, and the death toll is rising. The region is also affected by severe weather conditions which presents additional challenges to the survivors and rescue teams. Therefore, I am launching a fundraising campaign, which will continue until the 12th of February (the liberation of my hometown, Kahramanmaras, and my birthday) to support the work of the Search and Rescue Association (a voluntary, non-governmental organization involved in searching, assisting and rescuing all who require aid in emergency conditions). I will be very grateful to you if you could support my campaign, with your donations on these very difficult days.
